Description

Tween 85 is a 100% bio-based non-ionic surfactant used as versatile O/W emulsifier, dispersing agent, functional carrier fluid, and solubiliser for applications ranging from decorative and industrial coatings to adhesives and liquid colorants.

Benefits

1. Tween surfactant is an ethoxylated (or polyoxyethylene) derivative of sorbitan ester. The modification of this ester itself is also a flagship surfactant, increasing hydrophilicity, so that tween surfactant is usually soluble in water or dispersed in water and some highly polar organic liquids.

2. Tween product series is composed of a series of surfactants derived from fatty acid chain length, esterification and ethoxylation degree. This flexibility makes Tween surfactants and hydrophilic lipophilic balancing agents (HLB) with various structures very suitable for oil in water emulsification, dissolution, wetting and dispersion.
