Description

Monopotassium phosphate, MKP, is the inorganic compound with the formula KH₂PO₄.is

a soluble salt of potassium and the dihydrogen phosphate ion. It is a source of

phosphorus and potassium as well as a buffering agent. Colorless crystal or white

crystalline granule or crystalline powder, odorless, steady in air, relative density 2.338, 

melting point 96℃-235℃, easily soluble in water(83.5g/100ml,90℃), PH 4.2-4.7 in 1%

aqueous solution, insoluble in ethanol.

Application

It can used be in food industry as buffer agent, sequestran binder, yeast dietary agent

flavour, enhancers, dietary supplement, ferment, supplement, expansion agent etc.
