Description:

Artemisinin is a lactone cognate from the plant called Artemisia Annua. Sweet wormwood or Qing Hao is the common name of this plant in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has been tested, used and proven to treat fevers, including Malaria for at least 2,000 years already. Even in the modern medicine, it is still been used for the same purpose.

Artemisinin is being studied for fighting cancer properties. It is noticed to spot cancer cells but remains the other healthy cells undamaged. Its subordinates are also strong anthelmintics that can discharge parasitic worms and other internal parasites. It is also used to treat some sickness caused by an infection brought by tsetse fly bite and Onchocerciasis such as African-sleeping condition. Other illness is caused by the bite of an infected black fly, which is called River Blindness.

Artemisinin is also asserted to produce anti-aging functions. It has medicinal properties for delirious conditions and supports the immune system as well.
