Introduction:

This product is obtained by esterification of natural d-α-tocopherol and succinate. The product is white crystalline powder, tasteless or slightly fishy, and melts at about 75℃. Stable in the air, unstable in contact with alkali and heat. not soluble in water. Soluble in acetone, ethanol, ether and vegetable oil. Easily soluble in chloroform. A derivative of alpha-tocopherol. It is less oxidized than α-tocopherol.
