Description

Konjac extract is a powder extracted from konjac. Grape mannan, the largest content in konjac, has a strong swelling force. It has more viscous toughness than any kind of vegetable gum, which can fill the stomach and intestines, and eliminate hunger. Because it contains very little heat, it can control weight and achieve the purpose of weight loss and bodybuilding. Second, it has a lipid-lowering effect. 

Widely marketed as a weight-loss supplement, the fiber from konjac root, also known as glucomannan, appears to have some other medicinal properties of interest. These include the ability to inhibit absorption of cholesterol and glucose by the gastrointestinal system, as well as strong laxative effects. Glucomannan absorbs large quantities of water, helping to give weight-loss candidates a feeling of fullness and thus reducing their appetite for more food.
