Sodium triphosphate, also sodium tripolyphosphate, or tripolyphosphate, is an inorganic compound with formula Na5P3O10. It is the sodium salt of the polyphosphate penta-anion, which is the conjugate base of triphosphoric acid. White crystal powder, melting point is 622℃, easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol.

Application
In food industry, it is used as water conservative, quality improve, pH modifier, and metal-chelator, applied to can, fruit drinks, milk products, vegetable protein drinks, instant noodles, meat products, and so on.
