Description

Ammonium hydrogen phosphate is commonly used as a fertilizer. It can be used as fire retardant, in fireproofing textiles, paper and wood. It finds applications in vegetable fibers, impregnating lamp wicks, soldering metals, purifying sugar, in yeast cultures and corrosion inhibitors.

Application

It is commonly used in fertilizer as plant food as well as a yeast nutrient. Ammonium phosphate dibasic has been used to prepare multi-shell nanoparticles to increase transfection efficiency.
